The Business Development Executive (BDE) is our bridge between customer needs and our service portfolio. The BDE is responsible for accelerating time to value for our customers and supporting them with their digital workplace, productivity and collaboration needs. In close cooperation with the account managers, the BDE was to identify, qualify, develop and implement opportunities within our Future Workplace portfolio. With your technical mastery of the portfolio and industry knowledge, you should be able to find and acquire new customers, as well as work with the account managers of our installed systems to further develop the business and support our customers in their technical transformation.
What is Digital Workplace (DWP)? This line of business includes all services related to Microsoft 365 technologies, from Azure Active Directory to Intune to Exchange Online and all other services in between. Another focus is on security services with Microsoft technologies, other third-party vendors and SoftwareONE offerings.
The role
Building relationships with new and existing customers and securing new business in the Digital Workplace / Modern Workplace space.
You manage the entire sales cycle from the first customer approach to the conclusion of contracts for new customers. For existing customers, the sales cycle is initiated by the account manager.
Collaborate with account managers to ensure that the client's overall strategy and goals are tracked and achieved
Maintain a highly detailed level of knowledge about the assigned portfolio elements in order to have meaningful and relevant conversations with customers and prospects
Working with Pre-Sales Consultant / Technical Architects / Practice Leaders to ensure we develop the right solutions for our customers
Responsible for the offer and the Statement of Work (SoW) as a whole and commissioning the Pre-Sales Consultant for more complex content related to the specific practice
Feedback to account management on ways to shorten the sales cycle, increase revenue, and improve the company's brand and reputation
Management of sales team with the aim of generating deals (from lead qualification to creation of the sales strategy, preparation of offers and contract negotiations)
You communicate on an equal footing with the operational level up to the C-level
You write "CUSTOMER CENTRICITY" in capital letters
What we need to see from you
You have several years of professional experience as a (technical) account manager or in the sales of technical IT solutions.
