Your mission:
By joining our team, working on more than 500 servers and serving 200 clients, you will:
Ensure uptime, scalability & performance of the XWiki platform
Constantly improve and automate our platform
Monitor the behaviour of XWiki in different environments and backups
Work closely both with our internal team and with our external clients
Make sure the team has the right tools and set-ups to do their job properly
Help all the XWiki teams in their infrastructure and application issues
Get involved in client installations and upgrades
Write and maintain existing documentation regarding common infrastructure tasks
Participate to security projects make sure XWiki’s users data is safe and secure

Expected Skills:
Excellent Linux knowledge, in particular the Debian distribution

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Recruiter to support our Talent Acquisition activities.
This is a fixed-term position and we are open to different collaboration models, including part-time, full-time, or project-based, depending on the recruitment needs, project requirements, and the candidate’s availability.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting technical talent and be comfortable working in this field. Familiarity with open-source technologies and developer communities is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

XWiki is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Support team on its mission of supporting our customers through their XWiki&Cryptpad journey.
🎯 Your mission
Support our customers through their journey. In this role, you will:
- Acquire a good understanding of the XWiki&Cryptpad products and of the client environments
- Learn about security and cloud
- Learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues reported by the customers
- Provide support and technical solutions to our clients (via our customer portal, built-in helpdesk, mail, instant messaging, phone)
- Tackle tasks that involve web technologies, front-end and back-end
- Liaise with the product team to identify bugs and product improvements
- Support our customers and their projects developed on top of the XWiki Platform
- Help our Cryptpad.fr users with their questions
- Support the administrators of CryptPad Cloud instances and handle subscription support questions (Stripe)
- Improve the XWiki&Cryptpad documentation and the support knowledge base

- Are a great communicator
- End-to-end encryption has particular constraints that make CryptPad a bit different than other office suites. They need to be communicated clearly
