Romanian Association for Information Technology and Communications (ATIC) is the first independent, non-governmental organization in the IT&C field in Romania. The association was established in 1990.
Since its inception, ATIC has been proud to represent both the business sector and the academic research community in Romania’s IT&C field.

Its core principle is to support scientific practice in the field, fostering creativity, respecting the law and encouraging open dialogue to ensure the most efficient and professional use of new scientific advancements.
ATIC considers itself an active part of Romanian civil society, representing its members in the development and public debate of strategic policies, legislative initiatives, and communication - both written and audiovisual - concerning the growth of the IT&C sector in Romania.
